The 7th Asia-Pacific (ASPAC) Group Plenary meeting of UNESCO chaired by Ambassador U Kyaw Zeya, Permanent Delegate of Myanmar to UNESCO

The 7th Asia-Pacific (ASPAC) Group Plenary meeting was held on 2nd October 2018 at UNESCO (Miollis) under Myanmar’s Chairmanship of the Group, represented by Ambassador U Kyaw Zeya, Permanent Delegate of Myanmar to UNESCO.
At the invitation of the Chairperson of the ASPAC Group, Mr. Ernesto Renato Ramirez, Assistant Director General for Culture of UNESCO, Mr. Jean-Yves Le Saux, Director of Bureau of Strategic Planning and Mr. Hong Kwon, Director of Human Resource Management brief the meeting on reforms in Culture Sector, Finance structures and budgetary issues and the Human Resource Management Strategy respectively.
Afterward, ASPAC group members discussed about the preparation of ASPAC Joint Statement to be delivered during Plenary Meetings of the 205th Session of UNESCO Executive Board and other reports from different meetings.
