Visa Hours

Acceptance of visa application- 10:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs.
Visa collecting - 14:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs.

Application Method

Visa must be obtained in advance of travel to Myanmar. Applications should be sent to the Embassy at least three (3) or four (4) weeks prior to departure from the country of origin.

If the applicants are out of Paris, can apply visa by registered post (ordinary postage is not acceptable). Please consider the postal period.

Visa processing is lasting minimum 3 days (excluding postal period). For the some cases which necessary to get approval from concerned authorities take more time. Please allow sufficient time to get the processing done.

Payment Method

• Visa fees may be made by Cash only right now. And Bank transfer and ATM card method is proceeding currently with the bank and Embassy will inform when it can be used.
• No personal cheque or bank transfer to personal account will be accepted under any circumstances.
• All payments must be made in Euro.
• For return mailing, enclose a registered return envelope. (large enough to hold the passport for safe return)
• For local return mailings, self-addressed return envelope with French stamps for registered letter or courier satchel large enough to hold all passports for safe return. For international return mailings, enclose a postage fee of minimum 10 Euro in cash (or) available with DHL Courier services for return with tracking numbers.
• Myanmar Embassy assumes no responsibility for any delay or loss of mail or documents while under the custody of courier services. The applicants shall note the tracking numbers of all used and submitted envelopes.
• Incomplete application will be rejected at the counter. Incomplete application through courier service shall send back to its original destination.

Requirements for Photographs

• Recent original passport size colour biometric photos with white background. (Not more than 6 months old)
• Position must be look directly to the camera (portrait style) showing both edges of the face clearly.

Note

Validity for all type of visas is 3 months from the date of issue. In this connection, visa applicants are requested to kindly check their actual travel date and expected date of arrival to Myanmar before applying the visa. Children also require applying separate visa even if travelling on their parent's passport.

All necessary documents attached to visa application must be completed as described. The Embassy will not take any responsible for the applicants who did not provide completed information and documents for visa application.

In addition, The Embassy reserves the right to edit or reject any visa application, as well as to request any other supporting document to complete a folder in terms of non-refundable basic once visa fees has been paid.
