Social visa is for all former Myanmar citizens/residents and all their family members including those family members were non-Myanmar citizens or not born in Myanmar (for example: spouses and/or children, relatives) This is a single entry visa only and can stay in Myanmar up to 70 days. Social visas are valid for entry into Myanmar within three months from the date of issue. The stay will be start count on the arrival date to Myanmar.

REQUIREMENTS TO BE SENT TO EMBASSY (per applicant)

1. Original Passport with at least six months validity and three blank pages
2. TWO duly filled application forms of social visit visa (Download PDF) Social visa form download
3. TWO recent passport size colour biometric photos with white background (Please glue and no clips, no staples) (Please see requirements in General Guidelines Session)
4. Visa fee of 50.00 Euro (Please see payment method in General Guidelines Session)
5. Documents certifying that applicant is Ex-Myanmar citizen
6. Documents certifying the relationship with Myanmar citizen
7. Full address of stay and name of the person who will guarantee you during stay in Myanmar
8. Self-addressed return envelope with French stamps for registered letter or courier satchel large enough to hold all passports for safe return. For international return mailings, enclose a postage fee of minimum 10 Euro in cash (or) available to use DHL Express Services for return (cheque and bank transfer are not accepted. International coupons for postage fee are not accepted.)

10. Incomplete application will be rejected at the counter. Incomplete application through courier service shall send back to its original destination.
